Beautiful in daylight
Magical at night
From all the cities that I cherish
To you I returned
Just to see myself clearly
Becoming more confused about life
Sometimes that too is a blessing
Between rationalities and sentimentalities
But all good things come to an end
We were never meant to stay
Strategies can only work
If we execute what we had planned
I wonder sometimes how much longer
I need to keep frozen what is meant to melt
But some memories may be paralysing
Making us unsee what is beneath
So like a deer I again disappear
Into the forest I once called home
Like a circle we come to the end
Of the adventure we had embarked
Just to bring us back to where we belong
To make sense of the steps prior were taken
